Are your puppies health tested?
Absolutely! All our stud/parent dogs undergo breed specific DNA health testing with OriVet. Every puppy is vaccinated, wormed, and microchipped before going to their new home. We have meticulously selected only the best lines to ensure healthy, genetically and behaviourally sound puppies are produced.
Are you a registered Breeder?
JDs Mini Foxies is registered with Responsible Pet Breeders Association Australia and RightPaw Verified meaning we follow strict breeding standards to ensure the health, welfare, and ethical treatment of our dogs. Our breeding practices prioritize responsible care, early socialisation, and health screening.
How much are your puppies?
Our puppies are priced according to each litter and may vary between $2,500 - $3,500 depending on colouring and waitlist availability. The sex of the puppy does not impact their price.
What is included when I purchase a puppy?
The price you are quoted includes your puppy, a full health check by our Specialist Vet, Microchipping, 1-2 Vaccinations, Worming, Flea treatment, completion of their Puppy Development Program training and a Black Hawk puppy pack loaded with so many goodies! We also offer weekly Newsletters and loads of photos and videos.
I don’t live in WA but would love a JD’s Puppy, what do I need to know?
We help coordinate safe and professional interstate transport once your puppy is ready to leave us. Puppies generally travel by air with an approved pet transport provider, and we work with you to make the process as simple and stress-free as possible. Our Vet approves their Fit to Fly Certificate and we complete all the paperwork. We now have several of our gorgeous puppies in every state of Australia, except Tasmania!
I’ve submitted my Waitlist Application, what happens now?
You’re officially part of the JD’s family! You’ll receive confirmation via text or email from us letting you know that we’ve received your details and added you to our waitlist. From there, we keep our waitlist families informed throughout the year with regular updates on planned pairings, expected litters, puppy arrival dates etc. Once we have a confirmed pregnancy information about availability, shortlisting and the next steps are sent to families who may be suited to a particular litter. Our waitlist allows us to get to know our future families, keep you involved and, when the right puppy and timing come together, bring the best little bundle of joy and love into your life.
When puppies arrive and I am confirmed as a priority contact for the litter, how do I choose my puppy?
A priority contact means you’ll be one of the first families considered for puppies from that litter. We don’t believe choosing your JD’s puppy should be based on a single newborn photo. You’ll receive regular photos, videos and updates giving you the opportunity to watch the puppies grow and where possible, families will also have the opportunity to meet and interact with the puppies before making their final decision. We’ll work closely with you to help guide your choice. Our knowledge of each puppy, combined with your preferences, helps us make sure that the puppy you fall in love with is also a wonderful fit for your family and lifestyle.
How are your puppies socialised?
From an early age puppies are introduced to our carefully curated Puppy Development Program and are exposed to gentle handling, early noise and smell training, and various environments to help them become well-adjusted and confident companions. They are also socialised with a wide array of animals including chickens, cats, cattle, horses just to name a few!
What age can I take home my puppy?
Puppies are usually ready to leave between 8-9 weeks of age. This allows time for the full weaning process, become accustomed to their new diets and complete their Puppy Development Program including crate training, paired and solo nights, long leash sessions and loads of socialization.
Should I let you know if my circumstances or puppy preferences change?
Yes please! We encourage our waitlist families to keep in touch and let us know if anything changes, this helps us make sure the information we have for your family is current and that we’re considering you for the litters/puppies that best suit what you’re looking for. If you decide the timing is no longer right or you welcome a puppy from elsewhere that’s totally fine! Just let us know so we can keep an accurate record.
Can I meet my puppy and the parents?
Yes! We arrange a ‘Meet & Greet’ around 4 weeks of age and then a longer ‘Playdate’ at 6 weeks. These sessions are for you, your family and your new puppy to snuggle, play and start the beginning of your beautiful new journey together. Our Stud Dogs are always close by for extra play time too! We can arrange FaceTime calls if you don’t live nearby or based interstate.
Do you offer ongoing breeder support?
Absolutely! There is nothing we wouldn’t do for these little puppies and the success of adjusting to life with you. The health, well being and acclimation is so important to us and we are here every step of the way.
