Why we love the Mini Foxie!

The Mini Foxie is a true little Aussie icon — spirited, loyal, clever and full of personality. Small in size but certainly not in character, they have an incredible ability to become a much-loved part of just about any family.

One of the things we love most about the Mini Foxie is their adaptability. They are equally at home enjoying life on a farm, exploring the outdoors, joining in on family adventures or curling up beside you on the couch. Their compact size makes them wonderfully practical, without losing the confidence, athleticism and enthusiasm of a much bigger dog.

Intelligent, alert and eager to be involved, Mini Foxies are highly trainable and thrive when they are included in everyday life. They are naturally playful and entertaining, with that unmistakable cheeky terrier personality that keeps their families smiling.

Above all, they are incredibly loyal and affectionate companions. They form strong bonds with their people and love being part of the family, whether that means keeping up with an active household, sharing life with children and other animals, or simply being your little shadow throughout the day.

With their low-maintenance coats, manageable size and ability to adapt to so many different lifestyles, the Mini Foxie really is an all-round Australian companion — hardy yet affectionate, adventurous yet cuddly, and always ready to be wherever their people are.

This stunning and rare blue boy came from outback Queensland and radiates happiness. Just like his dad, he has been a champion mouse catcher! He loves a swim in the dam and even likes to try his paw at mustering cattle at the farm. But his favourite activity is playing with the kids, his gentle and joyful antics provides loads of giggles and fun for all of them.

Our king of the future! Lilac (or sometimes known as Isabella) is one of the most unique and rarely seen colours in Mini Foxies, this coupled with his laid back and very adaptive temperament meant he ticked all the boxes required as a Stud Dog for JDs. We can’t wait to add his impeccable genetics to our program in 2026.

Disney truly is a magical princess! Both beautiful to look at and in temperament she is extremely trainable, calm minded and a huge character. She makes friends with any animal she introduces herself too, even giving the chickens a quick sniff when she follows us into their pen.

Perdita is our sweet, snuggly mischievous girl who loves investigating the chook pen and keeping us entertained with her cheeky adventures. Her special colouring is a one-of-a-kind result from decades of carefully selected genetics. She truly is something else with the happiest, most fun loving temperament we adore in our Mini Foxies.

The adorable fluffiness that is Sassy - the sweetest, most gentle, calm minded JR we have ever met. This certified pedigree girl belongs to our sister-in-law and ticks every box we look for in temperament, trainability and nature. She is the only out-cross we have approved for our stud. The little broken coat puppies from her pairing with Reign exceeded all our expectations. We are so looking forward to more bundles of floof in the future.
